28 Color Palette review by Very Emily

Hello dear Born Pretty Store lovers! I absolutely loved the colors of this palette when I saw it on the site, but when I saw it in person I was really blown away! The pigmentation is very amazing, I hope my pictures will translate the beauty of this palette.





When you open the palette, the lid stays at an angle. My other palettes don't do this so I was a little confused at first, but then when I placed it on my desk, I noticed that the mirror was at the perfect angle! It's so useful when you are travelling and don't have a mirror with you. I usually don't use mirrors in palettes but because this is at an angle it's really practical!

These are all 28 colors up close. I swatched each row below for you. I love that it comes with brighter colours but also a few neutrals, black and white. My favourite colours are 14, 20 and 25.

This is the first row of swatches, colors 1 through 7. As you can see the pigmentation is really great! Especially #4 is very beautiful to me. Even the white has very good pigmentation.

This is the second row, 8 through 14. The black is as you can see really gorgeous, all the blues are amazingly pigmented. This swatch was made in the sunshine so you can really see the beautiful shimmer. All of the shadows are very smooth and not chunky or glittery.

The third row, colors 15 through 21. My favourite is the second to last, number 20. It's a gorgeous mossy green with gold shimmer. I have nothing like this colour in all of my eyeshadow and palettes. I really love it!

And finally the last row, 22 through 28. These are the more neutral shades. I love that the two browns on the left have a sort of blue shimmer to them. They're all very pigmented and really gorgeous. The last shade is pigmented as well but since it's very close to my skintone it didn't show up as much.
